Behind the Line 1 Hereford cattle, we feel the F1 Black Baldy is a great mix of the Hereford breed, and the Angus breed. Blessed Pines’ Baldy steers top our local market each year. The baldy heifers we offer for sale via private treaty should do a great job and be a strong addition to any herd, and raise strong healthy calves for many years.

Blessed Pines is owned by the Brooks family: Matt, Karah and their three wonderful children, Henry Hays, Drew, and Eli. We do our best to weave our Christian faith through every part of life here on the ranch. Our mission is to use what God has given us to bless others. Specifically, we feel called to provide a peaceful country retreat for pastors who dedicate their lives to serving.
Our Pastoral Retreat
Matt grew up the son of Dr. Troy A. Brooks, Jr, and his mother Paula. Both of Matt’s parents were Godly role models. Matt witnessed and felt first-hand the spiritual, mental, and financial strains that pastors and their families’ encounter. A pastor’s work goes well beyond preaching on Sunday morning. Pastors are “on call” to serve those that need them for their best times and their worst times. It is very difficult for a pastor to take any down-time to rest. Our vision for Blessed Pines Ranch is to provide a peaceful country retreat where pastors can rest, recharge, and have personal revival. As a ministry for hardworking pastors, Blessed Pines offers a peaceful ranch house where pastors can find rest without the financial burden of a typical getaway.
