Our History

A Legacy of Faith and Stewardship

Blessed Pines Ranch is rooted in the rich history of the Blossom Hill and Pine Hill communities, a place of both natural beauty and deep personal significance. Karah was raised on a portion of this property, along with the previous four generations of her family. While the Brooks family has moved and relocated across the US for Matt’s work, this has always been home.

While Karah’s family has had roots here for many generations, Matt and Karah began acquiring more acreage over the last few years. While this was not initially the plan, Matt and Karah both have a desire to not see the local farms and ranches not broken up and developed into residential tracts. When a few different families decided it was time to sell their family farms, God provided a means to which we could acquire these properties and keep the land whole.

The Ranch House, built in 1898, stands as a testament to the generations of families who have lived and worked this land. Originally a dog-run style cabin, it has evolved over the years, but its heart and purpose remain: to be a place of refuge and rest.

Our family, the Brooks, is blessed to continue this legacy of stewardship, not only of the land and cattle but also of our faith. We’ve made Blessed Pines a place where cattle are raised with care and where pastors can find a peaceful pastoral retreat. The history of this land is woven with our mission to serve others and honor God through what we’ve been given.

The Ranch House

The Ranch House at Blessed Pines is a place of rest and renewal. Built over a century ago, the house has been preserved to maintain its historic charm while offering modern comforts. For pastors seeking a quiet getaway, the Ranch House provides a peaceful space to reflect and recharge. You’ll also find echoes of its storied past, from the well in front of the house to the painted picture showing how it once looked in its early days.
